Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the implementation and oversight of strategic technology initiatives across the organization. This role will be responsible for directing IT staff, aligning technology strategies with business goals, and ensuring the efficient delivery of IT services. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and financial acumen, with a background in both development and customer-facing IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the definition, execution, and support of strategic IT plans that align with organizational goals.
Manage cross-functional IT staff, directing their contributions toward achieving project milestones and operational excellence.
Conduct technological research and evaluate solutions based on organizational needs and user feedback.
Coordinate project timelines, resource allocation, and execution with user departments and data center teams.
Conduct system audits to validate application outcomes and ensure successful implementations.
Maintain business continuity by implementing robust disaster recovery and data backup protocols.
Ensure the integrity and security of information systems through effective control structures.
Evaluate organizational performance outcomes to recommend and refine IT strategies, policies, and procedures.
Oversee budget development, forecasting, and expense management; implement corrective actions as needed.
Uphold and enforce IT standards and practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Remain up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Support broader business initiatives by contributing to cross-team efforts and related projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field.
Proven experience in IT management, including hands-on development and direct interaction with internal clients or users.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and align technical direction with business priorities.
PMP certification required.
Demonstrated success in project management, systems implementation, and IT governance.
Experience designing and enforcing IT policies, disaster recovery plans, and security frameworks.
Financial oversight experience including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
Advanced degree or additional certifications in IT management or enterprise systems.
Experience managing IT within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
