Azure and Google Cloud Platform Administrator
Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
6-Month Contract to Hire

We are looking for an Azure and Google Cloud Platform Administrator. This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity based out of Santa Ana, CA (Onsite).

Seeking a skilled Azure & Google Cloud Platform Cloud Administrator to lead cloud migrations, manage hybrid enterprise environments, and act as a technical SME across cloud architecture, identity, automation, and infrastructure operations.

Qualifications:

  • 7 12+ years IT infrastructure experience; 5+ years Azure/Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience leading enterprise cloud migrations (multi-cloud preferred).
  • Strong skills in Azure/Google Cloud Platform core services, Windows AD, and hybrid identity.
  • Proficient with Terraform, PowerShell, scripting, and cloud networking.
Preferred:
  • Certifications: AZ-305, AZ-104, Google Cloud Platform Architect/ACE, SC-300.
  • Bonus: Linux admin, VMware/Hyper-V, zero-trust/IAM governance, logging tools (Splunk, Datadog, Sentinel, Chronicle).
Soft Skills:
  • Strong leadership and collaboration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication.
  • Solid documentation and project execution capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Administration (Azure & Google Cloud Platform)
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments (compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring).
  • Enforce governance, standards, tagging, cost controls, and security best practices.
  • Drive cloud service hardening, performance tuning, and modernization.
Cloud Migration
  • Lead on-prem to cloud migrations for Azure/Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build migration plans, dependency maps, and cutover strategies.
  • Use tools like Azure Migrate, Migrate for Compute Engine, Velostrata, and CloudEndure.
  • Execute rehost/replatform migrations for VMs, apps, and databases; troubleshoot issues.
Windows AD & Hybrid Identity
  • Administer Windows AD, Group Policies, DNS/DHCP, domain controllers, and PKI.
  • Manage hybrid identity with Azure AD/Entra, AD Connect, SSO, MFA, and conditional access.
  • Integrate on-prem AD with Azure/Google Cloud Platform IAM; resolve identity and authentication issues.
Automation & IaC
  • Build automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, gcloud, and Python.
  • Develop IaC modules for scalable provisioning and CI/CD workflows.
Security & Governance
  • Partner with security teams on IAM, encryption, key management, and compliance.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerts, SIEM integration, DR/BCP strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as SME supporting architecture, networking, app, DevOps, and security teams.
  • Create documentation, runbooks, migration plans, and standards.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $55/hour to $65/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
