Job Title: Lead MuleSoft .NET
Location: North Carolina (Remote/Hybrid) Type: Contract
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Lead with expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and strong .NET development experience to lead enterprise integration initiatives. This role will involve architecture design, API-led connectivity, and hands-on development, while guiding a team through the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft APIs and integrations using Anypoint Studio and API Manager.
  • Architect and implement integration solutions connecting .NET applications, cloud services, and third-party systems.
  • Define API specifications, reusable components, and integration patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews for the integration development team.
  • Ensure best practices for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Manage integration deployments and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years with MuleSoft and 3+ years with .NET/C# development.
  • Proficiency in Mule 4.x, DataWeave, API Gateway, and RAML/OpenAPI specifications.
  • Strong background in REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and messaging (JMS, Kafka, AMQP).
  • Experience integrating cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of security protocols: OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and SSL/TLS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, distributed environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer / Architect credentials.
  • Experience with event-driven and microservices-based architecture.
  • Knowledge of API monetization, governance, and analytics.
  • Prior leadership experience in integration-heavy projects.
