Title: DDR Validation Lab Technician - Onsite

Description:
Job Duties:
Perform hardware and software testing to identify functional issues or failures on client server systems
Build and configure new platforms, including hardware installation (CPU, DIMMs, etc.) and software setup
Swap and validate CPU and DIMM components as part of test cycles and failure isolation
Debug and triage initial failures; interpret and analyze system log files
Track inventory and maintain status of lab equipment and components
Follow detailed instructions and maintain thorough documentation of test procedures and results
Communicate effectively with team members and escalate issues as needed
Complete assigned tests within expected timelines aligned with internal and customer roadmaps
Multitask efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Top Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with post-silicon validation and hardware platforms
Familiarity with Linux environments and Python scripting
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Basic soldering experience (nice to have)
Understanding of DIMM terminology (type, size, speed, etc.)
Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills
Education & Experience:
AAS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Technology (required)
BS/BE/MS in a related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in electrical or post-silicon validation labs
Strong background in PC hardware, software, and architecture
Experience with Windows and Linux OS installation and driver setup
BIOS flashing using ROM burner or utilities
Ability to read schematics and locate voltage rails, signals, and system registers
Hands-on experience with lab equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer
