Our challenge

  • We are looking for a Pega - Lead System Architect having an in-dept understanding of the Pega Architecture

 

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Support for End-to-End Technology for Merchant Operations programs and projects.
  • Partners with multiple teams and SMEs to drive business requirements through technology solutions.
  • Strong development experience in of various Pega Rules Ex: UI, Activities and Flows, Declaratives rules,
  • Decision Engine, Validation, Reports, Correspondences, Agents, Listeners, Activities, Data Transform, Data model structure, Delegation rules, Integration (Soap, Rest), JMS listener, and Service package.
  • Should have good hands-on experience Pega PRPC 6.x / 7.x /8.x platform(s). Pega 8 readiness.
  • Experience with full lifecycle Pega implementations (preferably in Pega 7 and 8 Platform).

 

Requirements:

You are:

  • Deep understanding of the PEGA architecture (Application layer cake, data modelling, Integration etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of Situational Layer Cake architecture and Framework based application development.
  • Good understanding integrations with APIs/Micro services. Especially REST and SOAP.
  • Good understanding of Queue Processor and Kafka.
  • Knowledge and Experience in the implementation of PEGA Collection framework.
  • Desirable knowledge in Next Best Action / Customer Decision Hub.
  • Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Fair understanding of relational database and hands-on experience in PL/SQL.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep understanding on Background processing concepts.
  • Excellent understanding on Pega User interface concepts.
  • Excellent Debugging skills and usage of tools.
  • Deep understanding on Pega core rules (Especially Data transforms, Activities, Data pages, Declarative rules and Report definitions).
  • Excellent understating on Case management concepts. Develops enterprise scale applications using Pega.
  • Participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications.
  • Provides technical leadership and mentoring to the other Pega resources on the team.
  • Works closely with the Product Owner and Product Manager to define the overall technical solution and ensures the team understands and follows this overall strategy.
  • Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
  • Serves as the key technical contact for external teams.
  • Deliver large BPM transformation programs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior/ senior developers.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and onsite team to understand business requirements and implement them into viable work products.
  • Work independently as well as in a team on design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Responsibly own project tasks and take them to completion within/ on time.
  • Create documentation including high level design, detailed design, unit/ system test case etc.
  • Take active part in release and deployment activities and assist onsite team in adhering to SLAs.
  • Use Pega best practices for development.
  • Participate in technical grooming sessions.
  • Create Pega unit test cases for all applicable rules.
