Job Details

The Mobility Services (MS) team is a division within the Supply Chain Management Organization. MS oversees procurement operations for travel, events (MS GO), and fleet services across various Siemens operating companies.

Position Summary:

The MS GO Intern will report directly to the MS GO Procurement Manager and play a key role in supporting best-in-class travel and events procurement program. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement, program management, and corporate operations, with exposure to contract management, supplier engagement, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Program Support:
  • Support contract management activities including repository maintenance and negotiation result tracking.

  • Assist in the source-to-contract process including RFPs, audits, and data gathering.

  • Contribute to supplier management, cost-saving initiatives, and program tracking.

MS GO Program Support:
  • Provide operational and analytical support for the Hotel Program (bid analysis, audits).

  • Assist in specialty travel programs (e.g., white glove service desk).

  • Develop expertise in group booking processes and tools.

Tool & Process Management:
  • Learn and utilize key procurement tools for contract storage, RFP management, sustainability, and supplier onboarding.

  • Become a go-to resource for internal procurement platforms.

Data and Analytics:
  • Input and maintain key performance data.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and KPIs that support business decisions.

Additional Duties:
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support MS goals and growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • College student or recent graduate (6+ month commitment preferred)

  • Interested in Procurement, Program Management, Travel, or Hospitality

  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote and fast-paced environment

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio

    • Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred

  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Domo) is a plus

  • Prior corporate experience is a plus

  • Demonstrates a go-getter attitude and eagerness to grow within the company
