Project Manager Customer Logistics
Join a dynamic team as a Project Manager in Customer Logistics, where you will lead initiatives to optimize logistics operations and enhance customer satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through strategic project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the optimization of vehicle utilization for customer shipments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Utilize analytics tools to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in shipping efficiency metrics.
- Develop decision-support tools, including prioritization matrices and process maps, to facilitate the execution of logistics initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic issues and enhance operational performance.
- Prepare for and participate in onsite events, workshops, and performance reviews to ensure accountability in logistics initiatives.
- Generate executive-level performance summaries to provide visibility into logistics metrics and improvement activities.
- Manage global supply of critical raw materials and support demand planning processes.
Skills
- Proven experience in logistics management and customer project leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to define project scope and manage timelines.
- Effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders and present initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory processes.
- Familiarity with customer engagement strategies and logistics optimization.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
