As a Cyber engineer on our project, you'll provide Cybersecurity engineering services to support the client's mission. You'll coordinate work with teams to identify the right mix of tools and te chn iques to translate your c us tomer's needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new te chn iques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the ind us try is going. You'll help lead the team through a critical approach to system design, providing alternatives and c us tomizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. You'll apply expertise in systems engineering to requirements analysis and allocation, architecture analysis and design, te chn ology assessment, and metrics development and provide operational support, including testing in an operational environment and coordinating and resolving issues with vendors and other appropriate personnel. You'll develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research te chn iques to the investigation and resolution of complex project requirements and te chn ical specifications for sof tware development projects and plan and direct full life cycle projects or major phases of projects for highly visible te chn ical solution programs. Your te chn ical expertise will be vital as you help c us tomers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices. You'll be able to broaden your skillset while helping c us tomers overcome their most difficult and unique challenges.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with systems engineering, sof tware development lifecycles, or system design, implementation, or administration
• Experience with developing technical system requirements
• Experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of IT resources, including Windows, Linux, VMware, and containerization products
• Knowledge of software vulnerabilities, exploits, or cyber security
• Knowledge of desktop and server operating systems at the administrative or kernel level
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with operating system languages and language packs and Cybersecurity products, including anti-virus and endpoint security variants and methods
• Experience with Python
• Experience with sof tware development and code review
• Knowledge of firmware or embedded systems, networking protocols, routing, and firewalls
• Knowledge of the intelligence community ( IC ) 's mission, vision, goals, and values
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
