Infinite Solutions Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of a Microsoft Security Specialist

  • Must have one (1) of the following Certifications and should be current and valid. Copy of the Certificate must be attached.
  1. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  2. Certification Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
  3. Certified Cloud Services Professional (CCSP)
  • A minimum of five (5) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying security policies, standards, testing, modification and implementation.
  • Possession of a bachelor s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Please include a copy of the certification.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Must hold an active and valid Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certification.
  • Must hold an active and valid Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification.
  • Must hold an active and valid Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certification.
  • Experience in the last five (5) years, working in governmental agencies performing information security specialist services.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience applying security policies, standards, testing, modification and implementation.
  • Must possess a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Please include a copy of the certification
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience must be in information security analysis.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience with developing and implementing technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.

In compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, California State Administrative Manual (SAM), and California Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM) to remediate/optimize the security posture management of the following Microsoft Security suite of tools including technical configuration and information security policy:

 

  1. Microsoft Entra ID (formerly: Azure Active Directory)
  2. Microsoft Defender for Identity
  3. Microsoft Endpoint Management
  4. Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  5. Microsoft Information Protection
  6. Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
  7. Microsoft Sentinel

 

Provide remediation, optimization and support services for information security incidents, issues, and related projects.

Tasks:

    1. Conduct discovery to establish a baseline/”as-is” state of each in scope capability. This baseline state will include both technical configuration as well as alignment to the appropriate State of California, California Department of Technology.
    2. Based upon the baseline state as input, create a prioritized backlog list of remediations/optimizations for technical configuration and information security policies.
      • This will include developing a proposed/recommended information security roadmap, clear and concise documentation (processes and procedures, plans, information security policies, technical roadmaps, and enterprise architecture security standards). for the department’s information security needs.
    3. Based upon the prioritized backlog list of remediations/optimizations, iterate over two (2) week periods to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that addresses the changes/optimizations for security posture management.
