Sr. Splunk and Apps Dynamics Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage end-to-end solutions using Splunk and AppDynamics.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports for real-time performance monitoring.

• Configure AppDynamics agents for application and infrastructure monitoring.

• Perform log ingestion, data parsing, and field extraction in Splunk.

• Analyze system and application behavior to identify performance bottlenecks or anomalies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and observability goals.

• Support incident response and root cause analysis using monitoring data.

• Ensure tool optimization, version upgrades, and platform scalability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3 5 years of hands-on experience with Splunk (including SPL, dashboards, alerting).

• 3+ years of experience working with AppDynamics (APM configuration, dashboarding).

• Good understanding of application performance management and infrastructure monitoring.

• Familiarity with microservices, containerized environments, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

• Experience with log analysis, system troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Splunk or AppDynamics certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin, AppDynamics Certified Associate).

• Exposure to other tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or New Relic.

• Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

• Experience in CI/CD environments and automation pipelines.

• Familiarity with ITIL practices and tools like ServiceNow.
