RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking an AI Designer for a remote role.
Summary:

We're looking for a Senior AI Designer passionate about Generative AI and creating intuitive, user-friendly solutions for medical professionals. Responsibilities:
* Design and enhance AI-driven experiences, focusing on user interaction with Generative AI models
* Optimize AI outputs for clarity, length, and relevance
* Apply behavioral science principles to influence positive user outcomes
* Prototype and validate AI concepts with users before development
* Monitor AI performance using qualitative and quantitative data; translate insights into improvements
* Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists in an agile environment
* Develop and maintain a Generative AI Design Framework, including standards and best practices
* Advocate for Generative AI design across the organization and mentor UX practitioners
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field preferred (not required)
* Certifications in AI or conversational design are a plus
* 5+ years of UX design experience with Generative AI products
* Portfolio showcasing relevant case studies and design approach
* Interest in AI safety and ethics
* Ability to adapt, collaborate, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
* Hands-on experience designing Generative AI experiences and conversational interfaces
* Familiarity with prompt engineering and context engineering
* Understanding of conversational fundamentals (turn-taking, cognitive load, pragmatics)
* Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Knowledge of Agile, Design Thinking, and user-centered design processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
