Position Title: Technical Project Manager ? Technical Services
Location: Clark County, NV
Estimated Duration: Through October 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension
Scope of Work & Responsibilities
Milestone Deliverables
- Meet stakeholders (vendors, supervisors) within 2 weeks of assignment
- Submit first draft of project plan within 4 weeks; review with team and leadership
- Finalize project plan by week 5
- Provide initial status update within 2 weeks; weekly updates thereafter
- Ensure on-time delivery of all projects; notify leadership within 24 hours if deadlines are at risk
- Complete project closeout within 1 week of completion
- Additional deliverables as needed
Daily/Weekly Expectations
- Lead daily or weekly project meetings
- Distribute meeting notes within 24 hours using approved template
- Track timelines and deliverables per project plan
- Report roadblocks within 24 hours
- Represent changes at weekly Change Management Board (Tuesdays)
- Update project spreadsheet and ServiceNow weekly
- Attend weekly Microsoft Teams meetings and all team meetings
- Promptly incorporate feedback into project processes
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop documentation: requirements, plans, schedules
- Collaborate on resource allocation
- Coordinate communications with internal departments
- Align efforts across internal/external teams
- Promote modern technology adoption
- Create change communications and training materials
- Weekly progress reporting to stakeholders
- Follow change management protocols
- Contribute proactively to project success
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Minimum Qualifications
Residency
- Must currently reside in Clark County, NV
Availability
- Onsite: First 8 weeks (Mon?Thu, 10-hour shifts)
- Hybrid: After 8 weeks (1 day onsite, 3 days remote)
Experience
- 10+ years in Information Technology
- 10+ years as a Project Manager for technical IT projects
- 3+ years in local government
Education
- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead technical focus groups (Infrastructure, Network Systems, Desktop Services)
- Resolve group conflicts to foster collaboration
Communication & Documentation
- Skilled in technical and user-friendly communications
- Document requirements, create plans, track progress in ServiceNow
Project Management
- Manage 5?15 projects concurrently
- Adapt to shifting priorities and dynamic environments
