REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:
5+ years IP Network Troubleshooting
3+ years DNS configuration
3+ years Understanding of monitoring tools (Splunk, SolarWinds)
2+ years ServiceNow ITSM Tool
2+ years Server Batch Scripting
2+ years Cisco Network Tools (ISE, Catalyst)
2+ years Technical writing experience

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The Client is looking for 2 Network Technicians - Advanced
The Client provides a challenging, broad range of skill development in a team environment. We provide quality customer service and support in an academic/research/business setting. Additional details: Candidates should possess strong soft skills, able to communicate well, work individually and as part of a team. Mainframe experience is highly preferred but can be taught.

DAILY DUTIES / ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
Monitors Clemson network, server, and application elements, resolves incidents and service requests and/or consults with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution
Applies simple state-of-the-art technology to meet and improve the network control center
Control network and system processing. Responds to customer inquiries and alters via emails, incoming calls, and walk-ins
Conducts routine inspections on equipment and reports any abnormalities
Other operational duties as assigned, such as meetings, project work, administration and facilities requirements
Configure network and system resources and maintain corresponding system records and documentation
Provides Tier II support as per SME agreements
Performs periodic maintenance and monitoring of computer systems
Performs pre-configured port activations on network switches
Prepares and reviews documentation for use in operations for training and the knowledge base
Participates in training and cross-training for the Tier II
Provides customer service for all information and/or telecommunication network systems support areas
