Description:
*Hybrid in Charlotte, NC*

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and facilitating Agile practices within our organization to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Scrum events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor team members on Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Support backlog refinement and sprint planning activities.
  • Monitor and report on team progress, metrics, and key performance indicators.
  • Work closely with project leads to ensure clear communication of project goals and requirements.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and help teams adopt best practices.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and promote open communication within the team.
  • Manage multiple and/or larger scale teams in Agile-based processes.
  • Collect metrics to assess team and project health (e.g., Burn-Down Chart, velocity).
  • Guide team members and promote Agile thinking, ensuring adherence to the process.
  • Facilitate estimation activities (e.g., story points, Planning Poker).
  • Maintain the backlog and Scrum board in collaboration with the team and Product Owner.
  • Track and resolve impediments, risks, and dependencies.
  • Update the team's improvement backlog with commitments from retrospectives.
  • Prepare and share the team's Commitment report and End of Sprint Report based on the Demo and Product Owner acceptance.


Experience Requirements:
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification and/or 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a servant leadership style and model Agile behaviors for teams.


Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
