Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst_Capital Markets

Position Details:

Title: Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst_Capital Markets

Duration: 6+ Months

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Toronto, ON, 2x/week in-office (Hybrid)

Compensation: $70-75/Hour

Interview Process: 2 rounds (1 hour each)

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably in financial services or capital markets.


• Strong experience in financial reporting, including reconciliations and reporting controls.


• Proficiency in SQL (intermediate to advanced) for querying large datasets.


• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Access is a plus.


• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to create SOPs, training material, and reporting decks.


• Experience working with disparate data sources and aligning them to financial reporting standards.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to capital reporting frameworks, especially BCAR and NCR


• Understanding of capital markets terminology and financial instruments (e.g., derivatives).


• Experience in reporting governance frameworks, controls, and audit readiness.
