Role: Mobile Solution Architect (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite/ Week)

Job Description:

Mobile Solution Architect

• We could bring the person to full time eventually
• Mobile architecture experience, at least 2-3 years, more ios development than Android. The person should come from the development background and still to be hands on coder to help the team if needed
• Cloud is not a must have, but AWS preferred
• No need to lead the team, an architect works on design of technical solutions for new features, coordinates between the teams, documents and the component design

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile application architectures that align with business goals and leverage cloud-native technologies (preferably AWS)
• Engage in strategic technical discussions, translate business requirements into architectural designs, and lead the end-to-end solutioning of mobile applications, including integration with backend and cloud systems
• Spearhead the migration of legacy applications and databases to modern cloud-based architectures, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized performance
• Work closely with mobile app developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align mobile application strategies with organizational needs and best practices
• Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives and developers, using strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Be able to work from the office 3 days per week in Alpharetta, GA
• 7+ years of experience in mobile app native development (Swift/Java/Kotlin or iOS preferred)
• 3+ years of experience as a solutions architect or consultant in mobile applications, cloud-native applications, and infrastructures
• Ability to articulate business requirements and drive solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy applications to cloud-based solutions
• Experience migrating large databases from legacy data models to new data models
• Working knowledge of Mobile application DevOps tools and Software Development methodologies
