Job Title: Data Centre Engineer

Years of experience: 8+

Location: Remote(FL Locals)

Skills:

The engineer will be a Senior Data Center Engineer with 8 years of experience. Experience in colocation and wholesale DC environments.
• Contribute to the design, buildout, and expansion of enterprise data center environments, including power, cooling, networking, storage, and compute infrastructure.
• Understanding of rack PDU’s, new installations, upgrades, firmware upgrades, IP’ing.
• Working knowledge of data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software. Asset management, power management.
• Contribute to the deployment, installation, and configuration of servers, storage arrays, network hardware, and supporting infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of data center capacity planning across power, space, and cooling to ensure long-term scalability and reliability.
• Awareness of hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, vendor coordination, RMA processing, and end-of-life transitions.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis efforts for complex infrastructure or hardware failures.
• Understanding of data center standards, operational procedures, and documentation.
• Working knowledge of power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, and physical security systems.
• Contribute to structured cabling design, installation, labeling, and documentation for copper, fiber, and MTP/MPO systems.
• Working knowledge of vendor relationships, service contracts, and on-site support activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and internal security policies.
