Territory Sales Specialist Material Handling Automation Remote with regional travel Based in North Georgia and surrounding states (TN, SC, NC)

Are you a hunter who thrives in industrial environments? Do you enjoy walking into a factory, spotting opportunity, and designing smart, automated solutions? Join a high-impact team that s been delivering innovation in material handling since 1969.

We re hiring a Territory Sales Specialist to drive growth in an established but underdeveloped market. You ll own your territory like a franchise: designing, selling, and delivering full-scale conveyor and automation systems that help manufacturers work smarter.

This is a technical sales role where grit, independence, and curiosity will get you far. You ll work alongside application engineers and vendors to create solutions, pitch to everyone from maintenance managers to VPs of Operations and manage deals from cold call to close and beyond.

You ll focus on:

  • Prospecting and closing net new business (70%+ hunting)
  • Building and managing a healthy pipeline of high-value opportunities
  • Partnering with engineering and vendors to spec and deliver system sales
  • Working closely with an inside sales team, application engineers, and participating in hands-on vendor training

You bring:

  • 3+ years of technical sales experience in industrial environments
  • Background selling into manufacturing or distribution operations (required)
  • Confidence in industrial settings (PPE, steel-toe boots, factory floors)
  • Ability to interpret layout drawings and hold your own in technical conversations
  • Strong communication, resilience, and curiosity. A true self-starter

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in conveyors, AGVs, or automation systems
  • AutoCAD or basic layout/design proficiency

What You ll Find Here:

  • A strong, family-oriented team culture that values accountability, dependability, and doing the right thing
  • In-depth onboarding, product training, and real mentorship
  • The tools and autonomy to build something meaningful, and the support to grow it

This isn t account maintenance. It s a true builder s role. If you re ready to design your own success story while helping clients modernize their operations, we want to hear from you.
