Job Details

Title: Lead Data Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL (100% REMOTE)

Description:

- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Lead Data Analyst, with a focus on data warehousing in the healthcare payer sector.

- Data Management: Oversee data architecture, design, modeling, implementation, and maintenance of solutions in the clinical data ecosystem.

- Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

- Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and alignment with industry standards.

- Modeling: Lead the design and development of dimensional data models, implementing best practices in data modeling to support business intelligence and reporting.

- ETL Processes: Interpret and write source-to-target mappings (ETL transformation rules) for ETL development.

- Governance: Manage metadata and data governance processes.

- Communication: Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

- Expertise in dimensional modelling and SQL.

- Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.

- Experience with DB2, ETL tools (Ab Initio), and reporting tools (Cognos, Tableau).

- Proficiency in data architecture and design, including Erwin.

- Knowledge of the healthcare payer industry (claims, enrollment, and clinical decision support systems).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to lead and mentor a technical team.

- Strong collaboration and team-building abilities.

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
