As a Sr. RF Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in maturing space-based RF systems from concept to production, working with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, integrate, and test RF payloads and systems up to 20GHz.
  • Support engineering and production teams in transitioning RF designs to manufacturable products.
  • Operate and maintain RF test equipment including VNAs and other RF hardware.
  • Execute component and system-level performance testing of active RF boxes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to mature RF designs and workflows.
  • Develop and optimize work instructions from loosely defined goals.
  • Provide training and coaching to junior technicians and engineers.
  • Troubleshoot RF circuits and collect performance data for analysis.


Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience in PCB assembly, testing, and rework for high-reliability applications.
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment and bench-top measurements.
  • Understanding of RF theory and electronic systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Experience transitioning designs from prototype to production.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the PCB build lifecycle for RF hardware.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Ability to create and follow test instructions.
  • Comfort with digital test equipment and automated tools.
  • NASA J-Standard certification or ability to obtain.
  • Experience working with RF test chambers and space-based applications.
