Job Details

Duration: 11+ Months

Location: MN-Richfield, 1-2 days onsite

Overview: Every consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services the company offers to clients. As a QA Analyst, you will join the Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges.

Responsibilities:

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, leadership, and a commitment to quality in the software development lifecycle

Lead QA activities, design and execute test strategies, and perform both manual and automated testing

Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, as well as manage test environments and data

Collaborating with development and product teams is essential to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage

Improve QA processes, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, mentor junior staff, and report on testing progress and metrics

Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications to cover various functionalities and scenarios

Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing across different web view (small view, large view) and devices to identify bugs and inconsistencies

Defect Management: Log and track identified defects using a defect tracking system, provide detailed descriptions, and reproduce steps to facilitate issue resolution

Regression Testing: Verify that bug fixes do not introduce new issues and maintain product stability

Reporting and Analysis: Summarize test results, analyze trends, and present findings to stakeholders to inform decision-making

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements, identify root causes of issues, and prioritize fixes

Quality Assurance Standards: Adhere to established quality assurance methodologies and best practices

Qualifications:

Automation Tools: Cypress, Selenium and Postman - 5-7 years

Test Tools: JIRA and TestRail, GitHub Actions and Cloud Platforms - 5-7 years

Scripting Languages: Java and JavaScript - 5+ years

Agile Project Development Methodology - 5+Years

Excellent communicator

Should be able to execute big program Integration Program Testing (IPT) - 8+ years

Understanding of different testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, usability) - 10+ years

Preferred Qualifications:

Along with Manual Test lead skills candidate should have UI and App Automation skills

Experience with Playwright

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $115,000 or the hourly equivalent.
