Job Overview:

Senior .NET Web Developer to join their IT team. The selected consultant will collaborate with IT supervisors, project managers, business analysts, QA developers, and other developers in an Agile development environment. The role focuses on requirements gathering, application design, development, testing, deployments, and technical support.

The developer will be responsible for new development and modernization of legacy applications using .NET technologies, implementing an N-tier architecture, and ensuring adherence to ODPS coding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ASP.NET Core MVC web applications with C#.

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization.

  • Build Entity Framework (EF) 4.0+ applications and maintain N-tier architecture standards.

  • Implement Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services following SOA principles and security best practices.

  • Participate in Agile development using TFS/Azure DevOps for backlog management, CI/CD pipelines, and release promotion strategies.

  • Develop RESTful APIs and web services using .NET Core/.NET 5.

  • Incorporate AJAX-enabled controls and ensure applications are mobile compliant.

  • Create and integrate SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports within MVC applications.

  • Use Visual Studio (2019+) for development and testing, applying Test Driven Development (TDD) or other testing strategies.

  • Provide technical support, demos, and presentations to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with ODPS staff to document and validate all development work.
