RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce direct client is in need of a Senior Automation Tester who has expertise in testing cloud-based SaaS HR applications. This is a 3-month contract and requires 3 days a week on-site in New York, NY.
Duties Include:
* Lead QA activities including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for web-based SaaS and HR platforms
* Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans for end-to-end system validation
* Implement and manage automation frameworks using Selenium, or similar tools
* Hands-on experience in automation for SaaS platform components with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and reusability
* Perform defect lifecycle management using tools like ALM or ClickUp, and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with development teams
* Perform database validation through basic SQL queries to ensure data integrity and correctness
* Lead QA efforts for HR modules, Core HR and downstream/upstream dependencies ensuring end-to-end functional coverage
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, and Business stakeholders to align on quality goals and deliverables
* Prepare and communicate detailed test reports, metrics, and documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5 to 8+ years of QA experience with at least 3 years in a lead role
* Strong expertise in SaaS application testing
* Proficient in manual and automation testing practices
* Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or similar tools.
* Prior experience in HR Tech platforms is mandatory; Familiarity with tools like Betterworks, Docebo, Eightfold is a plus
* Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., ALM, ClickUp)
* Proficiency in SQL for basic data verification and validation tasks
* Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
