Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in performance engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required.
• 4+ years Software scripting languages as they relate to developing performance engineering scripts.
• Experience in performance, capacity, and endurance testing, as well as results analysis and recommended remediation is required JMeter experience is a must.
• Working in Agile Scrum and DevOps environments representing QE Performance.
• You have experience working with enterprise level profiling and monitoring tools e.g., Dynatrace, HP Diagnostics, Splunk, App Dynamics, Grafana, SiteScope, Zabbix.
• 3+ years of experience evaluating, designing, and implementing Performance engineering approaches.
• Strong system troubleshooting and analysis skills required to solve complex technical problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, particularly in providing perf testing recommendations and status reports.
• Ability to drive changes at a large scale, proactive thinker.
• Ability to deploy new practices and tooling to keep current with the industry.
• Must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns, and opinions directly to wider team in team meetings face-to-face and via remote-working tools.
• Ability to deal with complex information, processes, and relationships to derive a simple solution.
• Good ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly establish credibility.
• Strong business acumen, communication, and presentation skills.

You ll sweep us off our feet if

• Multi-disciplined technical background: Networking (related to Performance Engineering), Services (Rest, SOAP, etc.), Databases (MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL, NoSQL), Mobile (iOS and Android)
• Load Runner experience.
• 1+ years of experience working with continuous build build/integration systems.
• Experience in the following areas is desirable: enterprise platform operations, content management and delivery, search engines, system engineering, and performance testing.
• You have experience working in a regulated industry e.g., banking, or healthcare preferably with provider organizations.
• You have enterprise level experience with both commercial and open-source solutions evaluating and implementing them as part of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC)
• You have Software Development experience working on a variety of technical stacks e.g., Java or .NET.
• You have experience working with cloud initiatives e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
