RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager in Saint Charles, MO.
Responsibilities:
Stakeholders:
* Project manager will be a member of the Technical Project Management team, and lead projects consisting of teammates from multiple functions and locations
* Collaborates closely with cross-functional partners such as Supply Chain, Finance, Enterprise Health & Safety, Maintenance, Facilities, Quality Engineering, Materials Engineering, Design, Automation/Controls Engineering, and external partners
What you will work on:
* Lead and manage project planning, execution, and delivery
* Contribute to functional excellence best practices and process development
* Foster effective teamwork and lead change
* Communicate vision and drive clarity across teams including facilitating planning meetings and communicating with stakeholders, and updating and maintaining sources of record
* Demonstrate understanding and practice in core project management skills including schedule management, resource management, issue and risk management, and meeting facilitation
* Drive coordinated cross-functional program team cohesion and effective collaboration across internal and external project team members
* Apply a detailed and methodical approach to problem solving
* Develop, execute, and communicate project plans using company and industry standard practices and tools
* Interpret statistical data to help drive project execution and problem solving
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication of project status, optimization of processes, timely deliveries to partners
* Apply proactive leadership approach - Communicate status to stakeholders optimally, with an emphasis on maintaining alignment with core project sponsors
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Technical or Project Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or other related degree; 7 additional years' closely related work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree
* 10+ years of experience in leading project teams within a high-volume manufacturing production, engineering, or technical environment
* Ability to work with associates of all levels including managers, engineers, machine operators, quality technicians, line supervisors, and maintenance technicians
* Comfortable speaking with multiple partners at varying levels, ability to synthesize detailed project tasks to report up high level accomplishments and risks
* Jira/Confluence and Smartsheet expertise required
* Executive Level communication skills
* Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional, geographically distributed project teams
* Program/Project Management (PMP preferred)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
