Sr. Technical Applications Developer

Join our client s modernization team as a Sr. Technical Applications Developer. This role is ideal for a technically strong developer with junior tech lead traits who thrives on optimizing DevOps workflows, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting infrastructure initiatives to empower actuarial developers in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $83 87/hr

What You ll Do:


  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability of critical applications supporting actuarial teams.
  • Optimize DevOps workflows to enhance deployment, CI/CD, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with architects and data engineering teams to assess technical debt, legacy components, and platform modernization opportunities.
  • Coordinate technical activities across three scrum teams, acting as a liaison between IT and business units.
  • Support secure infrastructure and compliance initiatives, including integration of authentication and messaging tools.

What Gets You the Job:


  • 5 10 years of experience in software development with a Bachelor s degree.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET, AngularJS, Azure SQL, and MongoDB within technically complex environments.
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus, Blob Storage, Okta OAuth, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution collaboratively.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to set realistic expectations and integrate solutions across multiple teams.
