Description: The Information Security Engineer designs, implements, and manages IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems. This includes Active Directory, MFA, SSO, IPS/IDS, log aggregation, patching, and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, support, and monitor Active Directory and cybersecurity systems.

  • Manage and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory.

  • Use M365e5 tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and Purview.

  • Update and improve security policies and procedures.

  • Execute incident response and forensic analysis.

  • Manage hybrid Azure and on-premise Active Directory.

  • Oversee DNS and group policy objects.

  • Automate processes with PowerShell and VB scripting.

  • Apply best practices for system hardening and network security.

  • Create design documents and support cybersecurity audits.

  • Conduct penetration testing.

  • Maintain documentation and communicate effectively.

  • Provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotational basis.



Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Active Directory.

  • Proficiency in federated trust relationships.

  • Familiarity with M365e5 tools.

  • Experience in updating security policies.

  • Skills in incident response and forensic analysis.

  • Experience with hybrid Azure and on-premise Active Directory.

  • Knowledge of DNS management and group policy.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell and VB scripting.

  • Understanding of encryption and authentication technologies.

  • Experience in system hardening and network security.
