Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive LMS Content Coordinator to support the migration and organization of learning content across our systems. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with experience or familiarity working within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital content platforms such as SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities:
Migrate learning content-including PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and PDFs-from one SharePoint site to another.
Maintain and replicate established naming conventions and folder structures to ensure content remains properly grouped (e.g., keeping all new hire materials in one folder).
Export and migrate content from the LMS into SharePoint folders.
Download video content from the LMS and upload it into SharePoint for organized access.
Copy and organize URLs linking to the new SharePoint content repositories.
Upload video content from the LMS into VidGrid for broader/public accessibility.
Track and document any files that cannot be migrated due to course authoring tool permissions using a Word document, allowing team designers to complete the transfer.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and organizing new learning content within the LMS.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth content migration and proper alignment with existing structures.
Maintain consistency and clarity in content organization across platforms.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning, Moodle, Cornerstone, etc.).
Experience working with digital content and cloud-based platforms like SharePoint.
Basic knowledge of file management, content structure, and video handling.
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Comfortable following established file/folder naming conventions and internal content guidelines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred (Not Required):
Experience with VidGrid or similar video hosting platforms.
Prior involvement in Learning & Development or training content support.
Understanding of course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) a plus.
