Job Details

Need a Junior base Engine Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience for our client.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site/CTC support for base engine related activities.
  • Coordinate and run vehicle and laboratory testing for engine components.
  • Support resolution of engine packaging, manufacturing feasibility, and build issues.
  • Perform concept design, feasibility studies, and early CAD development for engine components.
  • Generate and review CAD models and 2D drawings with GD&T.
  • Develop and maintain DFMEA, DVPR, and other functional documentation to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Translate functional objectives into technical requirements and design solutions.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams (design, releasing, validation, manufacturing) to ensure proper integration and alignment of requirements.
  • Manage Tier I suppliers for engine hardware design, timing, and deliverables.
  • Track and support warranty analysis and root cause investigations of engine issues.
  • Lead and process change management for engine components.
  • Provide program deliverables on time as per development milestones and support build/launch activities.
  • Communicate status, risks, and action plans to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in base engine design, testing, and validation.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA, DVPR, and change management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
