Senior SDET / Avionics / Firmware / Software / Embedded

Job Description An avionics start-up based in Carlsbad is looking to bring on their first SDET hire. You'll conduct both manual and automation testing and work at the intersections of software, firmware, and hardware. You'll work with a growing engineering team and have technical autonomy to drive the testing infrastructure. Ideal candidates have experience building automation frameworks, embedded systems, and working with both software and hardware.

This role is remote-hybrid with 4 days in-office in the Carlsbad area. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years working as an SDET
• Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up
• Experience working with embedded systems
• Experience working with software and hardware integrations
• Ability to work collaborative in a team environment and wear multiple hats as needed
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different technologies, using the right tools for the job

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
