Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Solution Analyst (BSA) expertise in Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies. As a BSA Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams, analyzing business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications. Your understanding of Agile and SAFe Agile practices will be essential in facilitating the successful delivery of projects in an agile environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Agile Project Planning: Participate in Agile project planning and estimation, working closely with Agile teams to prioritize and scope user stories.
  • Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows to facilitate Agile development.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Apply SAFe Agile principles and practices to ensure alignment with the organization's overall Agile framework.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects business priorities and is ready for development.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing their concerns.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and provide continuous feedback on deliverables.
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that the delivered solution meets business needs.
  • Assist in change management activities, including user training and documentation updates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues, providing recommendations for mitigation and resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with Agile and SAFe Agile best practices, incorporating new approaches and methodologies into project execution.
  • Foster a collaborative environment between business stakeholders and IT teams, promoting a shared understanding of project goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5-7 Years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Analyst, preferably in Agile and SAFe Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience in applying SAFe Agile practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex business
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to non- technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced
  • Coordinate with business subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to capture key solution features and capabilities for solution design.
  • Determine how solutions impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration of new processes or functionality.
  • Responsible for conducting Design Thinking sessions to gain insights into end user and customer
  • Author detailed functional and non-functional business requirements / user stories /personas / journeys/KPIs/ mock-ups that map business strategy, customer demands, and technology
  • Plan in effort estimation (sprint planning) and roadmap development sessions to define sprints based on business priority and impact.
  • Ensures development lifecycle and control processes are followed end-to-
  • Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicates direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners.
  • Manage and oversee user acceptance and business validation cycles with SMEs to ensure IT enhancements and project demands are delivered successfully with anticipated results.

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, MS Project, HP Quality Center, VSTS/TFS/Urban Turtle, Automated QA and wire-framing or visualization tools is a plus.
