Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Receive product inquiries, complaints, and adverse event reports from veterinarians, veterinary staff, pet owners, sales personnel, distributors, or other internal contacts via phone, email, or mail.
  • Provide information and support regarding proper product use, extra-label use, literature requests, adverse events, lack of efficacy, and product or packaging defects.
  • Maintain high technical and clinical expertise related to client products; continuously upgrade knowledge through journals and scientific seminars.
  • Document all communications in the validated database (PVWorks) in compliance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
  • Escalate calls to Technical Services Veterinarians as needed and ensure adherence to all SOPs.
  • Support internal and external sales representatives by providing technical support, answering inquiries, and participating in veterinary conferences.
  • Research topics and prepare reports as requested by management; analyze calls and report trends or issues in product usage.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned while maintaining compliance with all company policies and regulations.
  • DemonstXX high ethical and professional standards in all business interactions.
  • Understand and apply relevant GMPs, pharmacovigilance, and complaint handling compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Education:
  • Associate degree or higher in Life Sciences or as a Veterinary Technician.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant or technician.
Skills:
  • Strong customer service background with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to balance customer service and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of veterinary practice issues and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective in a team environment with strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict and balance business needs with user-friendliness.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Industry and/or regulatory experience in animal health is a plus.
