Target Pay $30 - $34 plus Overtime, plus per diem while travelling
Job Description:
You would be the person working with company engineers (hardware, software, robotics, project managers, designers), and then travelling to customer locations to implement and commission the newly created automated material handling systems. You would be going through and using software code created by others to get machines communicating with each other. Coding tools such as PLC's, HMI's SCADA, and VFD's. With your technical background and programming acumen, you would also be working with and learning C++, Python, or Java, depending on the customer site installations. Would also be learning new systems and programming languages. These are moderately complicated and industrial machines which could require your travel to each customer site for up to 9 months in duration for installation. The schedule could be couple weeks out, then one week back (30% - 50% travel).

Required Skills:
- 1-5 years experience working in an environment with Controls Engineers and implementation experience of automated control systems.
- Experience programming PLC's & HMI's
- Software programming experience
- Experience reading and understanding wiring diagrams, schematics, and facility layouts for machinery (where stuff goes).
- Some college coursework including software programming languages. Likely from a 2 year college track, or studies in electrical/mechanical engineering
Desired:
- Programming experience with SCADA and VFD's
- Other software programming experience such as C++, Python, Java or similar, demonstrated experience with programming languages.
- Experience with robotic applications (Fanuc, Kuka or similar)
- Linux operating systems
