Sr. Network Engineer

Job Description:

Seeking a Network Project Engineer for a permanent position in Greensboro, NC. This position is 100% onsite and will go onsite to clients in the Triad area.

The Network Project Engineer will work closely with our sales team and our highly valued clients, designing and implementing stable core infrastructures. They will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects ensuring consistency with the company s strategy, commitments, and goals. They will be the primary point of customer contact for all project issues and will work closely with the sales team to ensure that all products and services are properly applied and meet project specifications and contractual obligations. They will provide our clients with the best customer service on-site and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Implement, Support LAN/WAN technologies (i. e. installation of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
• Sales engineering, Azure migrations and setups, VMware migrations, Remote access solutions: VPN, Terminal Services, O365 migration and setup, SharePoint Migrations, Network Assessments
• Design, configure, and upgrade customer s networks and in-house servers
• Client On and Off Boardings
• Assist sales with client presentations
• Create and maintain project documentation and delivery to internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of the company s processes and project delivery procedures
• Measuring project performance, daily activities, and time entry
• Developing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and staff members

Skills:

• 7+ years overall IT experience
• 5+ years network support (firewall, switches, routing, wi-fi) experience
• 5+ years Windows experience
• Experience working directly on technical projects
• Microsoft, Network, or SonicWALL certifications
