• Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Design Research & Strategy and contribute to large-scale planning related to Digital Product Management functional area deliverables
• Plan and execute various research methods, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing and observational studies to gather qualitative and quantitative data about user needs and behaviors
• Evaluate research findings to identify user pain points, motivations and preferences, translating these insights into actionable recommendations for product teams, design teams and business partners
• Develop personas and journey maps based on research data to communicate user insights effectively across teams
• Work closely with designers, product managers and developers to integrate user insights int the product lifecycle, ensuring that user needs are prioritized in design decisions
• Share research results with stakeholders through presentations and reports, fostering a user-centered culture

Skills:

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the following: communications, human factors, information sciences, or visual arts demonstrated through work or military experience

5+ years of experience developing and executing UX research strategies using various UX research tactics (e.g., developing personas, experience mapping, conducting contextual user research and UX measurement activities)

Desired Qualifications:

1+ years of experience working in agile (Scrum) environments, with a proven understanding of how to apply the agile methodology to the user journey

Experience working in a complex, highly regulated environment

Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, where attention to detail, and the ability to multitask/prioritize a workload of competing priorities

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
