Job Title: Laserfiche Solution Architect
Location: Washington, D.C (Remote)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Solution Architect with deep expertise in Laserfiche Document Management System to design and lead the technical implementation of enterprise content management solutions. This individual will work closely with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, secure, and optimized Laserfiche architecture aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design end-to-end Laserfiche-based solutions tailored to business requirements.
  • Define Laserfiche architecture standards including document storage, indexing, security, workflows, and integration.
  • Evaluate and recommend modules/plugins such as Laserfiche Workflow, Forms, and Quick Fields.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to translate functional needs into technical solutions.
  • Integrate Laserfiche with enterprise applications (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ERP/CRM systems).
  • Provide technical leadership on performance tuning, backup strategies, and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and integration specs.
  • Stay updated on Laserfiche product updates and advise on future enhancements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Laserfiche architecture and implementation.
  • 10+ years of overall experience in enterprise solution architecture or systems design.
  • Expertise in Laserfiche modules like Workflow, Forms, Quick Fields, and Records Management.
  • Experience with APIs, web services, and scripting (e.g., C#, VB.NET, JavaScript) for customizations.
  • Strong understanding of content lifecycle, compliance, metadata management, and records retention.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
