RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Pacific, MO that is seeking a VP of IT to provide exec-level leadership of an entire IT department. This position creates and directs operational strategies that result in accomplishing business goals, meeting department financial goals, being a successful leader of a team, and creating a reliable user experience. The ideal candidate has proven success leading an IT team and operational strategies, strong business and financial acumen, with a strong work ethic and a great attitude.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for people management, production, performance, and quality within the entire IT department
* Maintains an innovative approach to ensure existing technologies meet needs of each department within the organization; Proposes & provides updated technologies that could drive efficiency
* Creates the standard of collaboration and interdependence with other functional teams and operational groups ensuring strong relationships and collaboration to achieve overall business goals
* Maintains a strong innovative approach to ensure existing technologies meet the needs of each department within the organization; Proposes and provides updated technologies that could drive efficiency within the organization
* Responsible for creating and driving the department vision and strategic plan; Is a Scorecard holder of business goals that aligns and contributes to the overall company goals
* Creates department processes and standards ensuring quality, production, performance, and task initiatives are met
* Direct Leader of people including compensation, performance, development, discipline, staffing, etc.
* Creates, manages, and drives department budget ensuring cost control and adherence
* Performs other position duties when requested
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in information technology strongly preferred
* 10+ years of experience leading an entire functional department within a corporate IT group required
* Strong working knowledge of cloud technologies, governance & security, server administration & network operations centers
* Experience with complex technical ecosystems preferred
* Highly strategic and forward thinking owning the success of the department
* Strong technical acumen within the IT space including integrating & managing cloud environments, service desk management, cybersecurity, application management, user experience, etc., driving KPI's & standardization
* Advanced presentation skills; Can create board level collateral & presentations to professionally articulate various business information and/or data
* Advanced level of business and financial acumen
* Strong data and analytics skills to drive critical business decisions
* Advanced level presentation skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
