Position Summary:
This Scope of Work (SOW) will provide details regarding an Electronic Technician role that is required to support an upcoming new product introduction, Project Defender. The project includes the design and development of electro-mechanical devices and clinical-use soft goods.
Additional Details:
Contract Length: 12 months with the possibility of extension
Pay range: $20 to $25/hour on W2
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent vocational training
- 5+ years of experience in a technical or laboratory environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Proficient in soldering, wiring, and cable/connector construction
- Experience ordering parts and components from a Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Skilled in developing and setting up test methods
- Capable of designing and building test fixtures
- Hands-on experience with executing development and verification testing
- Ability to collect and accurately document test data in a bench testing environment
- Proficient in using DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems
- Experience with standardized testing protocols and reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, aerospace)
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Background in test method development
- Experience working on project teams or within a matrix organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience sourcing or quoting components and materials from suppliers
