We re Hiring: Bioinformatics Analyst
Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Type: [Full-Time / Contract Add as per requirement]

About the Role:
We re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bioinformatics Analyst to join our team in New Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate will lead a team of talented bioinformatics programmers and play a pivotal role in data modeling, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Master s or higher degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of 3 4 bioinformatics programmers

  • Expert-level programming in at least one language strong preference for R, Python, or Java

  • Extensive data modeling experience for analytical applications

  • Proficient in Unix shell and/or Perl scripting

Preferred Skills & Technologies:

  • Experience with analytics and visualization tools like Spotfire

  • Hands-on experience with Cloud services (AWS)

  • Strong understanding of bioinformatics pipelines and data workflows

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of bioinformatics programmers

  • Design, implement, and optimize data models for bioinformatics analytics

  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to support research initiatives

  • Drive data analysis in a production-level environment using scalable tools and practices

  • Ensure smooth deployment of analytics solutions on cloud platforms
