Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructure. This is a fully remote position, offering you flexibility while working with enterprise-level environments and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and manage enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based networks).
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal up-time and minimal disruption.
Configure and support firewalls, routers, switches, and other network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
Implement network security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve network-related issues.
Perform network capacity planning, optimization, and documentation.
Support disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and security audits.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network devices and network configuration tools.
In-depth understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, etc.).
Strong knowledge of network security best practices.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or similar are preferred.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of SD-WAN, VLANs, VOIP systems.
Exposure to scripting or automation (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
