Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructure. This is a fully remote position, offering you flexibility while working with enterprise-level environments and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network solutions (LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud-based networks).

  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal up-time and minimal disruption.

  • Configure and support firewalls, routers, switches, and other network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).

  • Implement network security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support infrastructure projects and resolve network-related issues.

  • Perform network capacity planning, optimization, and documentation.

  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and security audits.

 

Required Qualifications :
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network devices and network configuration tools.

  • In-depth understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

  • Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of network security best practices.

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or similar are preferred.

Preferred Skills :
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Knowledge of SD-WAN, VLANs, VOIP systems.

  • Exposure to scripting or automation (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
