Workday Reporting SME Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Workday Reporting SME for a contract to hire position in Marietta, GA. Position Summary: Join our dynamic team in Marietta, where you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and innovative environment. We are seeking a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in enhancing our data reporting capabilities and driving business insights. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Analyse reporting requirements to determine development methods, development templates, and report design.
- Serve as a Workday Reporting expert with deep knowledge of the Workday ecosystem, including HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent, Payroll, and Absence and Time Tracking.
- Utilize best practices and industry standards in developing custom reports and calculated fields.
- Collaborate with other report developers and functional experts to understand the current business demands.
- Work with technology/security teams to define and create calculated fields, security policies, and other Workday objects to meet the evolving reporting needs of the organisation.
- Troubleshoot report-related day-to-day transactions and provide tier II support for requests from various teams, resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain precise change management documentation to comply with the company's internal/external audit controls.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting by performing audits.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new reporting features.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:</>
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Workday Report Writing.
- Proficient in Advanced, Matrix Custom Reports.
- Proficient in Calculated Fields.
- Proficient in Prism Tables configuration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other data analysis tools.
- Experience with Workday Dashboards and Worksheets.
- Proficient in building complex calculated fields.
- Familiarity with Data Visualisation Tools (i.e., Power BI).
Preferred:</>
- Proficient in using the Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), BIRT, and Workday Studio.
- Experience with Composite Reports.
- Workday Reporting Writing/Pro certification desired.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
