SQL Server Database Administrator

The City of Cincinnati's Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) department is currently seeking to fill the position of Database Administrator (Senior Computer Programmer Analyst). We are looking to recruit a talented and motivated candidate with strong SQL Programming skills and Database Administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Administering and managing the SQL Server Database environment.
• Design, code, and maintain T-SQL Scripts, Stored Procedures and Functions.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans for SQL Server database.
• Create ad-hoc reports using a combination of SQL and Excel.
• Document database operation policies, procedures, and processes.
• Provide guidance, support, and technical supervision to other members of the
  team in all matters pertaining to databases.
• Maintain and support highly critical production databases on a 24x7x365 basis.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and techniques.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Database Administration and SQL Programming role.
• Strong technical Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL commands.
• Proficient with PowerShell and other scripting languages.
• Experience with configuring Replication and Always On features.
• Ability to work independently with minimum guidance while prioritizing work to meet goals.
• Collaborates well with others and works efficiently in a cross-functional team environment.

Salary

$79,504.27 - $106,847.10 Annually
