Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder (formerly JDA/RedPrairie) Architect with deep technical, functional, and platform expertise across Blue Yonder solutions and supply chain systems.
The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience across WMS, ESP, Demand modules, integrations, enhancements, and enterprise supply chain platforms, in addition to strong architectural and database skills.

This role requires the ability to lead solution design, integrate Blue Yonder with enterprise systems, support platform enhancements, and provide strategic technical leadership for warehouse, planning, and logistics operations.

Technical & Platform Skills (Must Have):

  • 15+ years total IT experience

  • 10+ years in Blue Yonder Architecture

  • Extensive Blue Yonder product knowledge across:

    • Demand 360

    • Enterprise Supply Planning (ESP)

    • Transportation Modeler

    • Warehouse Management System (WMS)

    • Luminate Warehouse Tasking

  • Strong experience integrating Blue Yonder with enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, etc.) via:

    • APIs

    • MuleSoft

    • Middleware/EDI technologies

  • Database Expertise:

    • Advanced Oracle & SQL Server

    • Complex SQL queries

    • Performance tuning

    • Database troubleshooting

  • Core Blue Yonder tools experience:

    • MOCA Commands

    • Page Builder

    • Jasper Reports

    • JDA Integrator

  • Enhancements & custom development experience using:

    • Java

    • .NET

    • Python

    • WMS workflows

  • Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance supply chain systems

Domain & Functional Skills:

  • Strong background in Supply Chain & Logistics Operations

  • Deep understanding of warehouse processes:

    • Inbound, Outbound

    • Wave processing

    • Picking, Put-away

    • Cycle counts

    • Inventory management

  • Business analysis capabilities to convert requirements into functional & technical specifications

  • Master Data Management familiarity (items, suppliers, customers)

  • Experience with multi-system integration & supply chain data flow

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design Blue Yonder end-to-end solutions across WMS, Planning, and Demand modules.

  • Lead integrations between Blue Yonder and SAP/ERP platforms using APIs, middleware, and standardized frameworks.

  • Provide technical leadership for complex WMS and supply chain implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

  • Optimize Blue Yonder application performance through database tuning and architectural improvements.

  • Develop and troubleshoot custom enhancements, MOCA scripts, and workflows.

  • Collaborate with supply chain operations, IT, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and solution adoption.

  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical solutions and documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in architecture, security, performance, and data management.

  • Support deployment, testing, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and planning functions.
