Description

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Quality Inspector III to directly support site manufacturing practices through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts, principles, and methodologies with the goal of consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations of quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    \n
  • Collaborating, supporting, and providing Quality guidance towards all levels of the manufacturing process, both internally & externally, and document results as required.
  • \n
  • Participating in numerous levels of Quality activities, which can include product verification with an array of inspection equipment, resolving both internal & external quality-related issues, and establishing processes.
  • \n
  • Leading & providing direction to Level I & II Quality Inspectors.
  • \n
  • Interpreting customer drawings to understand all required product specifications.
  • \n
  • Ensuring the calibration maintenance is up to date of all inspection equipment.
  • \n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    \n
  • High-level understanding of GD&T, operating CMMs, interpreting & diagnosing CMM results, and metrology techniques.
  • \n
  • High-level experience in using measuring devices such as CMMs, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, and height gages.
  • \n
  • 5+ years of experience within the metal fabrication industry.
  • \n
  • Ability to successfully work both independently and on a team.
  • \n
  • Effectively present information in both 1:1 & small group situations, both internally & externally.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software.
  • \n

EDUCATION
    \n
  • Degree or 5+ years in a related field is preferred.
  • \n
  • High school diploma.
  • \n

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. Salary Description

$35 - $45 / hr
