Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer with strong experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) network connectivity, IP routing protocols, and datacenter networking. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable B2B network connection solutions for large enterprise environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance, risk mitigation, and support of enterprise-level initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement LAN/WAN/datacenter network solutions tailored for enterprise environments.
Lead the research, analysis, and decision-making process for B2B extranet connectivity solutions, including transport, resiliency, VPNs, and NAT configurations.
Execute planned network changes through the client s established change control process.
Proactively identify capacity limitations and system issues; assist with risk mitigation and performance optimization.
Collaborate with project teams on enterprise-level initiatives, providing network engineering expertise.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.
Conduct in-depth connectivity analysis, making strategic recommendations to enhance and modernize existing infrastructures.
Create and maintain technical design documentation to support engineering standards and best practices.
Effectively communicate network design strategies and implementation plans to stakeholders and technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
7 9 years of experience designing enterprise LAN/WAN and datacenter network solutions.
Strong hands-on expertise with IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP.
Demonstrated experience in Cisco router/switch configuration and troubleshooting.
Extensive knowledge of B2B extranet connectivity, including transport, resiliency, VPN, and network address translation (NAT).
Proven ability to create and update comprehensive technical documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience engaging business partners and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Datacenter focus.
Familiarity with network security best practices.
Experience working in highly regulated or compliance-driven environments.
