Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with deep expertise in Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) to join our team. This role is exclusively for professionals with proven, hands-on experience developing, enhancing, and integrating VIM solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. General ABAP development experience alone will not be sufficient for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on ABAP development specific to SAP VIM, including enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and custom reports.
Design and develop VIM DRC (Document Reporting & Compliance) integration solutions.
Conduct S/4HANA Clean Core assessments focusing on VIM-related custom code and extensions.
Analyze existing VIM implementations and provide remediation recommendations aligned with clean-core principles.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to interpret VIM requirements into robust technical solutions.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize VIM ABAP developments for performance and stability.
Ensure all development adheres to SAP best practices, code quality standards, and system performance guidelines.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Proven, hands-on ABAP development experience in SAP VIM (OpenText or equivalent).
Strong expertise in VIM Enhancements, User Exits, BADIs, and custom workflows.
Deep knowledge of VIM invoice processing, approval workflows, and exception handling.
Experience developing DRC (Document Reporting & Compliance) integrations with VIM.
S/4HANA Clean Core assessment exposure, specifically for VIM-related custom objects.
Strong proficiency in debugging, performance optimization, and code remediation.
Solid understanding of S/4HANA environments and modern SAP development practices (e.g., CDS Views, BOPF, RAP is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

SAP Certification in ABAP or VIM (OpenText) preferred.
Experience with VIM upgrades or migrations to S/4HANA.
Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 integration for VIM scenarios.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
