The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a Cloud Project Engineer (CPE) Infrastructure Administrator to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services within an Impact Level 6 (IL6) environment that will enable United States Air Force to transition from network operations and on-premises Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) for the transfer of classified information to a secure enterprise-based IL6 Cloud environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance support of a IL6 environment for the ECS EITaaS Stakeholders in accordance with DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) within a US Government multi-region enterprise platform for the Dept. of the Air Force.
  • Working independently to complete tasks as assigned and work with multiple application teams to integrate systems and solutions, triage issues, and prioritize activities.
  • Utilizing good verbal and written skills to communicate effectively to include answering questions, proactively communicating, and troubleshooting issues within the core infrastructure and application services.
  • Establish requirements, priorities, schedules, and objectives to support the capabilities and direction of the overall solution. This includes participation in development, design, review, deploy, maintain and monitoring of the infrastructure services. You will ensure product success and will follow all established processes and standards.
  • Managing your assigned cloud workloads in the day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for performing various tasks such as planning, designing, managing, supporting, and maintaining Azure cloud computing-related activities.

Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 15+ Years of relevant experience (bachelor's degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
  • 5+ years' experience working with cloud services such as virtual network appliances, Express Routes, Vnets/peering, Network Watcher, VPN, firewalls, NSGs, routing/route tables, Dedicated Hosts, private endpoints, Log Analytics workspace, virtual machines and VM images, storage accounts, and DNS.
  • Ownership: Experience working with minimal supervision, are a self-starter can manage your individual tasks and have strong communication skills for partnering and communicating across internal teams to maximize efficiency and success of assigned tasks.
  • Deploy and manage cloud resources and infrastructure components within an IL6 environment.
  • Security: Experience with best practices for the Azure cloud environments, Cloud Computing SRG, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Conditional Access Policies, and Regulatory Compliance such as IL6 and NIST 800-53 Rev 5.
  • Strong Experience with implementing governance capabilities within Management Groups, Subscriptions and Resource Groups
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and resource utilization issues.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to track the health and performance of cloud resources. Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect data and applications hosted in the cloud.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Application teams, developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators, to support application development and deployment.
  • Documentation: Strong skills in documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and operational processes and procedures, clearly being able to identify key aspects in your own words, and writing such that others who may not be technical can still understand what is being conveyed. Skills with documenting diagrams with Visio are also preferred.

Required Active Certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+ or higher equivalent

Preferred Certifications:
  • Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Certifications
  • Solutions Architect
