Details:

The creation of the GM Intraday Risk Horizontal team in Q2 2025 is a key initiative on the MAPS side to create an efficient support organization which will have the following benefits:

Specialized, highly skilled team with subject matter expertise in trading risk

Reduce support coverage gaps in Global Markets by realizing economies of scale

Improved stability by implementing consistent incident and problem management routines

Provide traders with rapid access to support and self-service tools via new engagement model

Standardized monitoring and dashboards across lines of business to detect production issues

Strategic tooling to reduce manual toil, improve issue detection and aide issue analysis

The successful candidate will be one who embraces innovation and has the drive to deliver on added-value projects and initiatives to help create and grow an industry-leading intraday risk horizontal support team. The role will be directly supporting traders, and the expectation is that all team members will assist with BAU support and issue resolution in addition to project work assigned based on their skill set. The role provides an opportunity within a trader facing team to gain a strong understanding of several technology areas. The depth and breadth of the support offered by this team makes it an excellent environment in which to learn and grow. Training and onboarding will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is given the opportunity to succeed in the new role.



Role Responsibilities

First point of contact for end business users in FICC for all intraday risk issues

Troubleshooting complex end-to-end flow of trades and market data updates

Ownership and delivery of onboarding support of new lines of business and workflows

Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts

Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots

Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements

Incident and Problem Management

Event Management (Monitoring and Alert life cycle Management)

Defining and driving monitoring improvements and technical processes

Capacity, Performance and Resiliency Management

Tool development in-house projects such as Python

Stakeholder management and communication

Knowledge management

Hands on experience providing direct support to front office trading desks

Business knowledge of fixed income products

Understanding of market data flows

Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, Splunk and ITRS Geneos
