Job Details
Title: Digital Events & Learning Manager Location: Remote Job Description:
- Our Digital Events & Learning Specialist will work on our PLCA team and be responsible for producing high quality educational webinars, assisting with the production of the Count Me In podcast, and managing and resolving member inquiries related to our webinars. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of webinars, podcasts and the distribution of CPE certificates for global events. This position will also assist with other projects as needed.
- Working with the PLCA team, you will leverage your skills to:
- Manage IMA webinar production including:
- Project Management: responsible for overall project management of webinar event production, timelines, and deliverables.
- Speaker Management: responsible for communication with event Speaker(s) and Moderator(s) leading up to, during, and immediately following the live webinar event.
- Visual Presentation: responsible for formatting and editing the event presentation for consistency with the quality and style of IMA Inside Talk webinars. This includes but is not limited to image searches, text editing, and layout.
- Event Script: responsible for maintaining the script for all events including welcome, introduction, procedures for earning CPE, moderator introductions, bios, summary, wrap up, and conclusion.
- Production: responsibilities related to webinar event production which includes but is not limited to securing production assistants, hosting practice sessions, hosting live events, organizing pre-event slides, editing event slides, and managing the technology from a third-party vendor for the purpose of running the webinar.
- Pre-event Promotion: responsible for managing the email communication process including reviewing event descriptions, learning objectives, and CPE related information. Work with Marketing team to ensure timely communication of webinar events.
- Post event Follow up: responsible for securing information related to the post-webinar activities which include reporting for sponsors and NASBA reporting.
- Customer Service: Ongoing management of webinar emails through Salesforce.
- Assist podcast host with speaker management and requests that come into the podcast inbox.
- Assist with scheduling podcast meetings.
- Manage communication with speaker and/or speaker representatives before and after the recording about the podcast and podcast release information.
- Recommend social media posts about the podcast.
- Produce and record CPE certificates for global events.
- Functional test newly developed online courses.
- Assist in periodic internal product review for webinars and podcasts.
- Maintain/update standard operating procedures for webinar, podcasts,.
- 4+ years of webinar production, event production, and learning and development experience .
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of ON24 preferred (or another webinar platform)
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Strong project management skills
- Experience using project planning tools like Monday.com or other.
- Excellent organization, time management, interpersonal, and writing skills .
- Creative problem solver and collaborative team player who is adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Bachelor degree (or continued education) in business, education, or related field (preferred)
- Accounting and finance knowledge is a bonus..
