Job Description:
- Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
- Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
- Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
- Works under general supervision.
Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
Philadelphia Design Center (PDC) supports aerospace programs throughout the enterprise including: 787, Airforce-1, Autonomous Systems, F-18, Space Launch Systems, Starliner, etc...
PDC stress analysts provide substantiation for critical Client programs
What are the Top 3-5 HARD Skills REQUIRED to perform this role/job?:
- Structural Analysis Experience,
- classical analysis and
- finite element analysis experience.
